In the period 22-24.11.2021 in Burgas the team of NGO “Green Balkans – Stara Zagora” hosted a Steering Committee Meeting of the project “Eco-Conscious Minds to Stop Pollution in the Valuable Wetlands of Black Sea Basin” BioLearn BSB142, funded by Joint Operational Programme Black Sea Basin 2014-2020 is co-financed by the European Union through the European Neighbourhood Instrument and by the participating countries: Armenia, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Republic of Moldova, Romania, Turkey and Ukraine.Continue reading

The 3D models of dolphins as guests of the Pomorie Lake Visitor Center

From December 3 Green Balkans presents an interactive exhibition at the Pomorie Lake Visitor Cente addressing the problem of waste pollution in the Black Sea, as well as in wetlands, especially in Pomorie Lake. Research conducted in 2020 in this wetland confirms the general trend that the largest share of waste is artificial polymeric materials.Continue reading
